Annual Health Checks

These regular checks are very important to assess overall health and may identify any problems that may not be obvious. Appropriate vaccinations are given, condition of teeth, parasite prevention, behaviour and diet can all be discussed. Also microchipping and database registration can be performed at any regular visit.

24 Hour Cover

We are pleased to offer 24 hour emergency cover. This service is provided in order look after patients outside of normal hours. Please call the surgery on 96747372 if you require this service and follow the instructions in the recorded message.

Electrocardiography

An ECG is used to identify and diagnose many problems with your pet’s heart. Your vet might suggest your pet has as ECG if they suspect a heart murmur, if an x-ray shows evidence of heart enlargement, or if your pet is showing cardiovascular symptoms such as fainting.

Hospitalization

We aim to have separate cat and dog whenever we can so your pet stays as relaxed and stress-free as possible. When your pet is ill or injured, they’re particularly vulnerable and it’s important for them to be in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Separate wards have the potential to make a big difference to their stay and ensure their recovery and recuperation is as .

In house laboratory

Quick and efficient testing at our state-of-the-art in-house laboratories is just one aspect of the exceptional care we offer. Having an in-house lab means we can test for a wide variety of issues immediately, often getting results back in minutes. This helps speed up the diagnosis of your pet, so we can begin treatment as quickly as possible.

Radiography

We use x-ray machines to quickly diagnose issues that might affect your pet. What is a pet x-ray? An x-ray (or a radiograph) is a diagnostic procedure that lets us see inside your pet’s body to check their bones and organs. It’s a common imaging technique that gives your vet more information about what’s going on inside your pet.

Ultrasound imaging

It’s the use of ultrasound waves to make images of the internal organs in the abdomen or of the heart. It’s a very useful, painless and non invasive exam that helps to diagnose many conditions. We perform these exams with top of the range ultrasound equipment from General Electric VIVID series and have considerable experience and expertise.

Surgery

We operate 2 surgical rooms fully equipped with anaesthetic machines with isoflurane and sevoflurane gas anesthetics and all necessary monitoring equipment. (capnography, ecg, oximetry) In addition to that we also use tissue sealing device (covidien Ligasure) for bloodless surgery where appropriate. We have many years of experience of routine surgery and complex surgery both soft tissue and bone surgery.
